ただ、記念日であったり誕生日であったりと、人生の節目に旅行に行き、ご宿泊されることも多いと思います。
そう、それは、思い出に残すための宿泊なのです。
お客様は一生の思い出を作りにいらっしゃっている。そんな貴重な時間に関わることができる大変光栄な仕事をさせていただいている。という思いで宿を運営しております。 また、旅行というのはその日を楽しみに日々の仕事を頑張れたり、嫌なことを忘れられたり、心に豊かさを与えるものです。RIKYUに泊まる日を楽しみにしてくださっているすべてのお客様の気持ちに応えることが私の使命です。いつか人生を振り返ったときに RIKYU で過ごした時間 が、とても幸せな時間だったと思い出していただけるようなサービスを目指してまいります。

RIKYU という施設名に込めた想い

施設名は「京町家のスイートルーム」と「千利休」から
「KYOMACHIYA-SUITE RIKYU」と名づけました。
千利休の言葉が由来とされている"一期一会" の精神を大切にしたいという思いを「RIKYU」に込めています。
一期一会とは、相手と出会っているこの時間は、同じ相手でも二度と巡ってこないものであるため、今この時間を大切にして、誠心誠意をこめて相手をもてなすことです。
同じ場所でも、いつ行くか誰と行くかで全く違う旅行になります。同じ旅行はまずありません、旅行というのはまさに一期一会なのです。
何度もお越しくださるリピーター様でも、もしかしたらもう二度と会う事ができないかもしれない、一期一会の精神をチェックインの時間に込めてお迎えしているのです。

The facility name was named "KYOMACHIYA-SUITE RIKYU" from "Kyomachiya Suite Room" and "Sen no Rikyu". "RIKYU" expresses the desire to cherish the spirit of "Ichi-go-ichi-kai," which is the origin of Sen no Rikyu's words. Ichi-go-ichi-kai means that this time when you meet the other person will never come again even if you are the same person, so cherish this time now and treat the other person with sincerity.
